We’re looking for an experienced HRIS Analyst to join our People Systems team to develop and deliver solutions across Workday HCM with a focus on business enablement, user experience, and scalability. The HRIS Analyst will play a key role in partnering with stakeholders across the business to analyze and improve processes, support major cyclical programs, and execute against our People Systems roadmap.

This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. Along with most Asanas, you’ll work from this office in person on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays. If you're interviewing for this role, your Talent Acquisition Partner will share more about the in-office requirements.

What you’ll achieve

  • Establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders, gain a deep understanding of key initiatives and business needs, recommend process improvements and technology solutions, and manage projects ranging from small & simple to large & complex
  • Translate business requirements into creative and effective solutions while keeping scalability in mind
  • Drive projects end-to-end by demoing Workday functionality, soliciting requirements, providing design and solution recommendations, developing configuration, supporting testing cycles, and leading smooth cutover and deployment
  • Provide production support including triaging tickets, troubleshooting system issues, providing end-user support, researching alternative solutions and features, and delivering small enhancement requests
  • Perform configuration and administration of business processes, reporting & dashboards, security groups, and completing EIBs across Workday modules
  • Assess new Workday features and conduct regression testing during Workday update cycles
  • Ensure data integrity across Workday and downstream systems, adhere to data governance and compliance policies

About you

  • 5+ years of demonstrable hands-on Workday development, configuration, implementation and support; in-depth knowledge of Workday foundational concepts, business processes, reporting, security, and calculated fields
  • Strong experience with at least three Workday modules such as HCM Core, Compensation, Benefits, Performance & Talent, and Absence
  • Experience with Workday Payroll and Time Tracking a plus
  • Strong working knowledge of Workday integrations (e.g., EIB, CCB, RaaS, etc.)
  • Experience with Greenhouse ATS preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with HR processes and programs, employee life cycle, and HR data flows

For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $158,000 - $202,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.

In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
