San Francisco, CA, USA
Posted on Thursday, August 24, 2023

As the Administrative Business Partner to our Head of People, Anna Binder, you’ll support Anna and her leadership team’s vision: creating a culture that drives business success in service of our mission. Our people programs are designed to create both high impact and deep belonging, where courage and accountability together produce great results—for the business, and for each Asana’s personal development. We achieve all this through our goals and behaviors, such as our values, Conscious Leadership principles, diversity & inclusion strategy, ESG commitments, and approach to Areas of Responsibility.

This role reports into our Admin Operations team, which delivers best-in-class support to our company leaders. Your Admin Ops teammates will support you with partnership, resources, and knowledge-sharing to ensure your clientship helps Anna, her Chief of Staff, and the People leadership team achieve their goals.

This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. Along with most Asanas, you’ll work from this office in person on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays; however, you may be expected to work from the office if there is a business need. If you're interviewing for this role, your Talent Acquisition Partner will share more about our philosophy and in-office requirements.

What you’ll achieve

  • Build business acumen by understanding Asana’s sales lifecycle and business/organizational priorities
  • Manage large, complex projects with significant impact on business outcomes
  • Earn trusted relationships across the company
  • Ensure Anna best leverages her time through strategic calendaring: attention to accuracy, detail, context-switching, and energy management
  • Produce impactful meetings through efficient logistics and effective preparation
  • Turn speed into true velocity: quickly analyze/resolve tasks and improve operational opportunities, in alignment with our goals and priorities
  • Deepen our culture’s business impact by embodying our values and goals in all internal and external relationships

About you

  • You‘ve supported senior leaders (Director, VP, C-Suite) for 4+ years
  • You have previous experience supporting an HR executive, or other HR experience, in an enterprise environment (a plus but not required)
  • You understand the highly flexible nature of support work, and are comfortable being available in-person 3-4 days per week in our SF office
  • You display exceptional discretion and sense of nuance with confidential/sensitive information
  • You innately embody our “Do Great Things, Fast” value - this is Anna’s superpower!
  • You set and accomplish goals in an ambitious, focused, and sustainable manner
  • You’ve honed excellent prioritization skills including analyzing business needs, judgment on trade-offs, and bringing along stakeholders
  • You show exceptional equanimity, acting with grace and composure under pressure

What we’ll offer

Our comprehensive compensation package plays a big part in how we recognize you for the impact you have on our path to achieving our mission. We believe that compensation should be reflective of the value you create relative to the market value of your role. To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.

For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $156,000 - $198,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.
