The Asana Marketing team is responsible for fueling business growth and building a brand customers love. We create campaigns and content to attract new accounts and inspire current ones to grow with us. We continue to grow, with a global team focused on revenue and field marketing, product marketing, brand and content creation, advertising, and lifecycle marketing.

Join our dynamic Brand & Content Marketing team as we redefine the event landscape. We're in search of a visionary who doesn't just manage events but crafts unforgettable experiences that captivate, engage, and accelerate pipeline growth. You'll be a pivotal player under the guidance of our Brand Events & Experiences Lead and collaborate with diverse teams such as Brand Marketing, Sales, Field Marketing, PR, Product Marketing, and Creative. Your mission? To conceptualize, curate, and amplify events that resonate and leave a lasting impact. We believe that events are more than just stages, booths, and meals – they're platforms for innovation, cultural intersections, and conversations that matter.

This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. Along with most Asanas, you’ll work from this office in person on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays. If you're interviewing for this role, your Talent Acquisition Partner will share more about the in-office requirements.

What you'll do

  • Architect and spearhead large-scale, intricate external events that align with our brand's vision
  • Seamlessly orchestrate cross-functional event logistics including messaging, production timelines, promotions, collateral, and amplification plans
  • Oversee the complete event lifecycle: from ideation, budgeting, vendor partnerships, on-the-ground logistics, to post-event insights
  • Monitor, track, and report on event performance, goals, budgets, timelines, and post-event surveys
  • Infuse innovation and fresh perspectives to enhance the quality and impact of events
  • Closely partner with Field Marketing, Partner Marketing, and Product Marketing to deliver exceptional experiences by owning the planning and execution of events and trade shows.

About you

  • 6+ years of experience successfully managing multi-faceted events in the software tech industry
  • Deep event planning and event industry knowledge and proficient in orchestrating a spectrum of events, from third-party trade shows to multi-day events and annual customer conferences
  • Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end event management: planning, budgeting, stakeholder alignment, vendor collaboration, execution, and analytics
  • Stellar skills in project management, organization, and meticulous attention to detail
  • High EQ, with a knack for fostering collaboration and influencing cross-functional teams, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Google Workspace, Salesforce, and project management software
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally for events as needed

We believe that compensation should be reflective of the value you create relative to the market value of your role. To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.

For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $164,000 - $208,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.

In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
