We are looking for an experienced marketing professional who has a track record of building integrated experiences that wow. This person understands how to take corporate and product messaging and activate it at scale and through high-touch programs. Moreover, they should know how to align strategy with Sales to effectively build a strong pipeline and drive revenue growth.

The Asana Marketing team is responsible for fueling business growth and building a brand customers love. We create campaigns and content to attract new accounts and inspire current ones to grow with us. We continue to grow, with a global team focused on revenue and field marketing, product marketing, brand and content creation, advertising, and lifecycle marketing.

This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. Along with most Asanas, you’ll work from this office in person on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays. If you're interviewing for this role, your Talent Acquisition Partner will share more about the in-office requirements.

What you’ll achieve

  • Data-Driven Strategy: Develop a data-driven NAMER field marketing strategy that aligns with corporate goals and objectives. Lead a team to execute this strategy and create a roadmap for achieving regional and segment growth targets.
  • Team Empowerment: Empower and inspire a high-performing team of field marketing professionals. Set clear goals and create a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team, fostering an environment where data guides decision-making.
  • Sales Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with the sales leadership team, gaining deep insights into their objectives. Align field marketing initiatives with sales efforts to maximize impact, using data to refine strategies continuously.
  • Integrated Marketing: Work with cross functional marketing teams to activate campaigns, events, sales programs and plays in the NAMER market.
  • Budget Efficiency: Efficiently manage the NAMER field marketing budget and allocate resources effectively. Continuously track and measure pipeline and ROI to make informed resource allocation decisions.
  • Informed Decision-Making: Stay well-informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer insights, using data as a foundation for informed marketing decisions and strategies.
  • Performance Optimization: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) that are aligned with data-driven objectives. Regularly track and report on the success of marketing initiatives, using data insights to optimize and improve strategies continually.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure that all marketing activities strictly adhere to legal and regulatory requirements as well as company policies, while also leveraging data to monitor and enhance compliance measures.

About you

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful field marketing strategies in the NAMER market.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to think strategically and operationally.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using marketing analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM systems.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

We believe that compensation should be reflective of the value you create relative to the market value of your role. To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.

For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $241,000 - $325,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.

In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
