To help power our next wave of growth, we’re looking for a Marketing Business Operations Manager to join Asana and the Marketing Operations team.

In this role, you will be responsible for accelerating the CMO-wide workflows and making every marketer more productive through global policies, processes, and our Marketing on Asana deployment. Additionally, you will drive key cross-functional alignment across the marketing departments by managing QBRs, Metrics Meetups, and CMO-wide marketing planning processes. This role involves close collaboration with various teams, working with tools, templates, and systems (especially Asana) that support our planning, budgeting, and business operations. Your ability to strategize, organize, and report on the effectiveness of our marketing processes will be pivotal to your success.

This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner.   • Accelerate the deployment of the 'Marketing on Asana' initiative to enhance overall productivity.
  • Facilitate key cross-functional alignment by managing Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), Metrics Meetups, and CMO-wide marketing planning processes.
  • Utilize and master tools, templates, and systems that support planning, budgeting, and business operations.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure smooth operations that adapt to the organization's growing needs.
  • Strategically plan and organize tasks, as well as track and report on the effectiveness of marketing processes.
  • Identify and structure solutions for marketing program issues, manage communications, oversee milestones and timelines, and lead cross-functional groups to synthesize feedback and deliver on objectives.
  • Become a trusted expert on internal systems and their functionality.
  • Implement and manage global policies and processes to ensure efficient cross-departmental functioning.

About you:

  • 5+ years of experience in program management, business operations, or project management supporting a revenue-generating organization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven track record in fast-paced, high-growth, and often ambiguous environments.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience working with stakeholders at all levels within a company.
  • Passion for working on detail-oriented tasks while maintaining a focus on broader strategic goals.
  • Curious mind with a dedication to continuous improvement.
  • Empathy for business partners and a commitment to helping them achieve their goals.

We believe that compensation should be reflective of the value you create relative to the market value of your role. To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.

For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $146,000 - $186,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.

In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
