Content Design Lead
Asana
We're looking for a Lead Content Designer who is excited by our mission of designing the future of teamwork. You’ll partner with our Pay team to design content for payments, upgrades, and licenses. You’ll also partner with our Enterprise team designing work collaboration features for executive and independent contributors, helping them work seamlessly across teams and departments. This is a role for a seasoned individual contributor, who will contribute to high-level strategy and leadership, while also engaging in hands-on product writing. As a crucial member of the extended Enterprise leadership team, you will have the opportunity to innovate in content design and strategy, influencing not only what we make but also how we make it.
This role is based in our Vancouver office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. What you’ll achieve
- Own the end-to-end experience of content in an award-winning product, shipping high-impact features
- Plan, write, and evolve clear, engaging, customer-focused content experiences for significant product initiatives
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, user researchers, product marketers, data scientists, and engineers to shape strategy and leadership for the Enterprise Pillar and Essentials Pay Area (R&D group), ensuring Asana is easy to purchase and works efficiently for our largest and most complex customer organizations
- Contribute to the development and refinement of content guidelines, standards, new best practices and design foundations
- Generate multiple ideas quickly, partner closely with the research team, and engage regularly with Asana customers to validate directions
About you
- Demonstrated success in UX writing with 8+ years of experience at product-driven global companies
- Added bonus: Expertise in B2B, SaaS, or Enterprise products
- Proficient in information architecture and creating content that aligns with customers’ mental models while achieving consistency by maintaining and evolving content guidelines
- Experience partnering closely with QMR and UXR to conduct quantitative experiments and qualitative user studies, producing effective research-informed and metric-driven content
- Strong written and verbal communication, along with presentation and storytelling skills
- A creative problem-solver who can lead large content efforts and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Solid understanding of user experience design principles and interaction patterns
- Mentors team members, leading by example to help others adopt best practices

Our comprehensive compensation package plays a big part in how we recognize you for the impact you have on our path to achieving our mission. We believe that compensation should be reflective of the value you create relative to the market value of your role. To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.
For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $154,000 CAD - $196,000 CAD. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.
In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
