At Zoobean, you will have the opportunity to do meaningful work that helps grow our partners of school districts and public libraries, serving over two million readers.

Zoobean is seeking a full-time Marketing Manager to develop customer-centric strategies and resources to increase product engagement and reduce partner churn. In this role, you will work closely with the Marketing and Product & Client Engagement teams to drive engagement of Beanstack by promoting best practices. This position requires both vision and attention to detail—bringing big-picture perspective and fresh ideas to targeted campaigns and communications for existing partners. This role is ideal for someone with at least 3-5 years of experience, who is an expert written and spoken communicator, detail-oriented, highly motivated, creative, and willing to be the ultimate team player.

Responsibilities

  • Create, plan, and execute Beanstack’s client marketing strategy to increase client engagement—including, articles, emails, webinars, videos, blog posts, and promotional materials.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to launch new features and create on-demand resources to help partners engage their users.
  • Develop and implement creative and original outreach strategies to key client audiences.
  • Collaborate with Client Engagement to identify process improvements that allow team members to better care for clients one-on-one.
  • Support growth and retention initiatives by identifying, and keeping record of, exemplary partners for storytelling and spokesmanship—integrating into the overarching engagement strategy.
  • Own creating and executing deliverables in HubSpot, plus optimizing HubSpot for client outreach needs.
  • Analyze results of programs and identify ways to improve tracking & reporting effectiveness.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required. Marketing, product, client engagement or customer success specialty area of focus preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of experience

Skills and Abilities

  • Experience creating and executing plans to grow product awareness and partner engagement.
  • Superb written and spoken communication skills. Must be able to (and excited to!) act as a copywriter for resources and documentation.
  • Ability to establish priorities and proceed with objectives with little supervision.
  • Strong project management skills. Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • An enthusiastic and “can-do” team spirit.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong sense of urgency. Self-starter.
  • Receptive to feedback

A Big Plus++

  • Experience in education, education technology, publishing, or software marketing
  • Experience working with school librarians
  • Experience using Beanstack
  • Location: Remote, Central and Eastern time zones preferred

Salary and Benefits



  • Salary will range from $80,000-$100,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience.
