The Account Manager works within a defined territory of key strategic clients, to manage relationships, develop new relationships and grow revenue via renewal, cross sell and expansion. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with technology, have a strong understanding of education, and experience partnering with school districts. Establishing successful and impactful partnerships in key regions is crucial to the success of our mission.
The Account Manager will cultivate and manage relationships with mainly public school and district decision makers in their focused territory, and owns joint responsibility, along with partner Account Executives, for building the brand and generating revenue within the territory. With that in mind, the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, educational advocates, and senior district administrators is vital. Preference will be given for candidates living in Louisiana.
At BookNook You Will:
- Generate revenue in your assigned territory with a variety of strategies, including renewal, cross selling and expansion in partnership with account executives.
- Maintain and enhance strong relationships with current strategic clients to understand their evolving needs, evaluate the health of the client relationship, and effectively identify and secure expansion, cross sell and renewal opportunities.
- Cultivate and expand relationships with key stakeholders at public school districts to build trust, develop champions and identify needs.
- Conduct regular meetings, including quarterly business reviews, with clients to ensure satisfaction, identify growth opportunities and earn testimonials and referrals from your clients.
- Develop a deep understanding of BookNook’s product and services to provide expert-level insights to clients.
- Conduct product sales presentations in person and via webinars.
- Build a network of influencers and adopters who can create opportunities for future partnerships.
- Anticipate traveling to client locations at least quarterly and as needed to ensure success in achieving your goals.
- Partner with internal BookNook staff to ensure best in class service to enterprise customers.
- Be the voice of enterprise customers within BookNook, sharing feedback, product enhancement suggestions, and advocating for issue resolution as needed.
