How BrightBee Works: You’ll be an essential part of our dynamic workforce as an independent contractor, ready to respond and commute to on-site work opportunities at nearby K-12 schools and nonprofits via the BrightBee app. You’ll be able to pick which work assignments match your experience, preferences, and schedule and will never have to take on an assignment that you don’t feel is a fit for you.
The Opportunity: We are looking for individuals who are looking for single day assignments to support our new partner in Cincinnati! We are partnering with IDEA schools, assignments will be in the Idea price hill/urban core and Idea valley view/north side of city/Woodlawn neighborhoods. This is a great opportunity for an educator, office manager pro, or someone with a passion to support their community.
Assignment times will range from 8:00-4:15
What You’ll Do:
- Supports enrollment and school administrative tasks
- Performs office duties with a minimum of direction.
- Performs varied administrative and confidential duties as directed.
- Exhibits tact and diplomacy in contacts with the community, the district, and outside agencies.
- Maintains control over incoming and outgoing correspondence; composes correspondence on a variety of assigned subjects; reviews and proofreads correspondence prepared for the office.
- Sorts mail delivered to the office and routes it to the proper divisions.
- Enters and maintains data in a computer database.
- Receives phone calls and visitors to the office, schedules appointments and interviews.
- Compiles, creates, and types reports, special studies, complex worksheets, and statistical reports and tables.
- Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Who You Are:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- An individual with a genuine enthusiasm for working alongside children and youth along with alignment to our mission of supporting workers, students, and schools while promoting academic success.
- Related work administrative/clerical experience.
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute to public and charter schools within the applicant region, required.
- Ability to quickly adapt to varying school environments and perform without constant supervision.
- Dependability and punctuality are vital for fulfilling on-demand job opportunities efficiently.
- Prior to working with students, you will need to pass a background check, livescan and may need to obtain other necessary testing/clearances. Rest assured, we will guide you through the process!
