About This Opportunity
We are proud to serve as the sourcing partner for Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) in their search for Bus Driver Trainees. While you’ll apply through BrightBee, all hiring decisions and employment will be made directly by PGCPS.
If you’re dependable, safety-conscious, and ready to make a difference in your community, PGCPS will provide paid training to help you earn your Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and become a certified School Bus Driver. No prior CDL experience required!
As a Bus Driver Trainee, You Will:

Receive paid training to earn your CDL

Learn to safely operate school buses under the supervision of certified trainers

Study best practices in student safety, customer service, and professionalism

Prepare to support students of all needs, including those with disabilities

Gain confidence through hands-on instruction and classroom sessions
Minimum Requirements

High school diploma or GED
-
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Must pass background check and drug screening

Good communication and people skills

Commitment to safety and reliability
