BrightBee, an innovative staffing organization, is partnering with schools to find and hire exceptional talent. We are currently leading the search for a Math Content Coach for Acceleration Academies in the North Charleston area in South Carolina.
The Role:
Serve as the primary instructional coach for "Graduation Candidates" (GCs), focusing on personalized, competency-based math content to help them graduate and plan for the future. You'll be part of a collaborative support team. This is an onsite role, Monday-Friday, 9:30-5:30p/EST
Key Responsibilities:

Academics: Teach math (1:1 and small groups), monitor student progress using data, provide enrichment/remediation, and attend professional meetings.

Student Support: Advise GCs, track attendance/wellness, support new student enrollment, and collaborate with the support team on learning pathways and transition plans.
Essentials & Compensation:

Required: Bachelor's Degree, South Carolina 6-12 Secondary Math Certification.

Experience: 2+ years of teaching (high school preferred).

Skills: Strong communication, planning, and collaboration.

Compensation:

During 1099 trial period 39.50/hour

Once converted to Full Time Employee the salary range is $60,000 - $75,000 plus comprehensive benefits (401k match (4% match), medical, flexible PTO, and professional development reimbursement).

Must be passionate about helping at-risk youth succeed.
The Hiring Process:

15-20 minute phone interview with BrightBee recruitment team member

Hand off to Acceleration Academies where candidates will have 3 rounds of interviews with key stakeholders

Upon offer, candidate will remain a 1099 contractor for a 30-45 day period and begin with Acceleration Academies

After the trial period, candidates will officially onboard with Acceleration as a Full Time Employee
Please note, assignments may require the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
