BrightBee, an innovative staffing organization, is partnering with schools to find and hire exceptional talent. We are currently leading the search for a Paraprofessional for Kenowa Hills Public Schools in Grand Rapids, MI.

Hours and Availability

• 30-35 Hours Per Week
• Weekdays (School hours)

This requires one of the following:

• Proof of an Associate’s Degree
• 60 passing college credit hours,
• a passing score on the Paraprofessional assessment.

Essentials & Compensation:

• Experience working with Pre-K-12 students is preferred.
  Ability to use age-appropriate tones and language with students, including those with special needs.
• Establish and maintain a daily routine suitable for the student’s needs, adjusting as needed.
• Ability to function effectively and collaborate regularly as a member of an instructional team.
• Excellent work attendance is required.
• Support classroom instruction to ensure student learning if needed.
• Ability to process paperwork and collect data if needed.
• Ability to supervise students during recess periods.
• Ability to communicate effectively and develop positive relationships with parents, students and staff.

Compensation:

• • $17.60/hr

Please note, assignments may require the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
