Cayaba Care's mission is to improve pregnancy, birth and the postpartum journey for women and their families by reimagining how maternity care is delivered. Our team is focused on building trust-based engagement and wrap-around support for expectant moms at home, in person and virtually, to ensure they have all the social support they need for a successful and joyful pregnancy and postpartum journey. We also leverage technology to support our virtual engagement which allows us to meet all our moms where they are. We ensure that our members do not feel alone during their pregnancy journey, and that they have a trusted resource for support, resources, and information throughout their pregnancy, delivery and well into postpartum.

The Role:
Cayaba Care seeks a Vice President, Member Acquisition and Enrollment to lead and execute our end-to-end enrollment strategy. This leader will own provider and community partnerships, marketing, and phone outreach with a sharp focus on enrolling and engaging Medicaid populations. We are looking for a hands-on leader who blends strategy with execution and has experience collaborating closely with other executive leadership to drive measurable business impact.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this leader will manage and develop a high-performing team and drive sustainable business growth to expand access to quality care for underserved communities.
Travel Requirements: 1x a quarter for leadership team offsite's.
Responsibilities:
Member Acquisition and Enrollment Strategy
- Lead the strategy and execution of member acquisition and enrollment efforts across outreach, marketing, and provider channels.
- Develop a deep understanding of population of interest, member leads, and current members in order to better reach and understand membership base.
- Lead phone outreach team (inbound and outbound calls) ensuring scripts, talk tracks and targeted enrollment techniques to maximize conversion via phone optimized.
- Lead field outreach teams (community and provider engagement), and marketing teams.
- Develop and execute targeted initiatives to increase engagement across various touchpoints, optimizing for conversion and retention rates.
- Build out new market entry strategies, including forecasting enrollment and ensuring scalability.
- Leverage data-driven insights to refine growth strategies using KPIs such as lead volume, reach rate, conversion rate, and patient activation.
- Effectively communicate Cayaba Care’s value proposition and care model to external stakeholders.
Market Growth and Strategy
- Analyze market trends in women’s health, maternal health and other related sectors to assess successful engagement and growth strategies critical to success.
- Act as a hands-on leader, working across operations, finance, product, data/analytics, and care teams to align on growth initiatives.
- Support the identification populations, geographies, etc. to support new business growth.
- Synthesize high-level funnel development strategy with detailed execution for enrolling new members.
- Drive brand recognition and market positioning in communities and geographic locations where we Cayaba is serving members.
Client Engagement and Communications
- Support implementation and performance monitoring of partner contracts.
- Ensure marketing and communication materials are compliant with partner brand guidelines and reflect Cayaba’s value.
- Support Cayaba Care’s effort to report outcomes, business development and evaluation with external stakeholders and audiences.
People Management and Organizational Development
- Build and lead a high-performing, mission-aligned team across account management, phone outreach and marketing.
- Define and track clear KPIs and performance dashboards to monitor performance and drive accountability.
- Coach and mentor team members in a rapidly evolving organization.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of demonstrated success owning end-to-end enrollment strategy ideally in early-stage or high-growth environments.
- Strong understanding of provider partnerships, patient enrollment and engagement strategies.
- Experience in B2B2C/D2C healthcare models, patient journey optimization, and leveraging data analytics for decision-making.
- Ability to balance high-level strategy with hands-on execution, comfortable working at both macro and micro levels.
- Success scaling a lean, high-growth company, taking it from $XM to $XXM+ in revenue.
- Exceptional written communication skills, with experience crafting compelling marketing copy, outreach scripts, and stakeholder communications that drive engagement and enrollment.
- Committed to Cayaba’s mission to improve maternal health outcomes for all communities, especially high risk communities.
- Experience working with diverse teams and patient populations, demonstrating high emotional intelligence and authentic leadership.
- Comfortable navigating uncertainty, problem-solving in real time, and wearing multiple hats in a fast-moving environment.
- Familiar with Excel or Google Sheets to quantify, track, and articulate growth plans and performance.

- Base Salary: $200,000–$230,000 per year, based on experience.
Bonuses: Performance-based annual bonus opportunities. - Equity: Equity grants may be available, subject to board approval and company policy.
