eddii-Care is a virtual endocrinology specialty clinic providing innovative, compassionate care for people living with diabetes and other endocrine conditions.

We are seeking an experienced Medicaid Provider Enrollment Specialist to manage Medicaid enrollment for eddii-Care and our clinical providers across multiple states.

Position Overview

The Medicaid Provider Enrollment Specialist will own Medicaid applications from initial preparation and submission through final approval.

This role includes enrollment at both the group/entity level and individual-provider level, including adding physicians and nurse practitioners to existing Medicaid groups.

We are looking for someone who is highly organized, persistent, and proactive — someone who will actively follow applications, resolve deficiencies, contact Medicaid agencies and payer enrollment teams, and make sure applications do not stall.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit Medicaid enrollment applications for healthcare organizations/groups and individual providers.
• Add physicians, nurse practitioners, and other clinicians to existing Medicaid groups.
• Manage applications across multiple states and Medicaid enrollment portals.
• Track each application from submission through final approval.
• Monitor application status and proactively follow up on outstanding or delayed applications.
• Contact state Medicaid agencies and enrollment departments to resolve application issues.
• Respond quickly to requests for additional information, corrections, or documentation.
• Identify dependencies between group enrollment and individual-provider enrollment.
• Maintain accurate provider information, including NPI, taxonomy, practice locations, licensure information, and required supporting documentation.
• Manage Medicaid revalidations, renewals, and enrollment updates.
• Maintain a clear enrollment tracker showing status, outstanding requirements, next action, and follow-up date.
• Escalate enrollment issues with a clear explanation of the problem and recommended next steps.
• Support Medicaid managed-care enrollment when required after state Medicaid approval.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Medicaid provider enrollment or payer enrollment.
• Direct experience submitting and managing Medicaid applications.
• Experience enrolling both provider groups/entities and individual clinicians.
• Familiarity with state Medicaid enrollment portals and processes.
• Knowledge of NPI/NPPES, taxonomy codes, provider rosters, and enrollment documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfortable calling Medicaid agencies and payer enrollment departments to resolve issues.
• Ability to independently manage multiple applications across providers and states.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing Medicaid enrollment across multiple states.
• Experience with Medicaid managed-care organizations.
• Familiarity with CAQH and PECOS.
• Experience enrolling physicians and nurse practitioners.
• Experience with telehealth or multi-state healthcare organizations.
• Experience building or improving payer-enrollment tracking processes.

Success means applications do not sit untouched or disappear into a portal.
