Our team is committed to enhancing physician and patient quality of life through Elation, a SaaS cloud-based clinical platform. We’ve built a product that users love, and we plan to keep it that way by continuing to empathize with users and help them overcome challenges.

Our Product Management team is looking for a Group Product Manager (GPM) to manage two PMs and lead our product development team to design, build and go to market with capabilities to support primary care delivery workflows. This GPM will own the core EHR product line and will contribute to transforming it into a scalable, industry-standard clinical productivity solution for primary care. This candidate will be a key player in influencing the roadmap across multiple domains, as well supporting the growth and success of the EHR product line.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Steer prioritization and align outcomes across multiple teams in order to drive a key pillar of the product strategy forward
  • Optimize the EHR product line for business success by deeply understanding customer, business & market needs, leveraging a prioritization framework to drive tradeoff decisions, and ensuring the intended customer/business value is realized
  • Be the internal thought leader for the product line who partners with cross-functional business leaders and executive stakeholders to achieve company objectives, leveraging the ability to explain concepts and goals in business rather than technical terms
  • Set clear expectations for the strategic future of the EHR product line (i.e., roadmap and strategic vision) both with internal teams and external stakeholders. Communicate this content via concise longform written communications and engaging visuals. Manage a team of product managers, fostering their professional development and establishing a clear path for career growth
  • Uplevel the product management craft at Elation and shape the direction of how we leverage data, set goals, and make prioritization decisions across all levels of the organization
  • Lead and drive collaboration with the product, design, and engineering teams to dig into details and prioritization discussions for roadmap planning and execution

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • 2+ years of experience managing product management teams
  • 8+ years of experience developing and bringing SaaS products to market
  • Has experience scaling and driving innovation on an established, relatively mature product
  • Has managed and owned roadmap and agile delivery for B2B SaaS products at scale
  • Has a track record of leveraging hypothesis-driven development techniques, wrangling data, and running low-cost experiments to drive customer and business outcomes
  • Extremely comfortable with influencing without authority
  • Skilled at navigating and handling ambiguity
  • Excellent written communicator. Has experience leveraging narrative documents to effectively drive stakeholder alignment.
  • Strong understanding of how to communicate complex concepts in simple, distilled terms, and appropriately tailoring presentations depending on the audience

BONUS POINTS:

  • Has built professional-grade productivity and/or workflow automation tools
  • Has built a profitable SaaS product that serves both Enterprise and SMB customers
  • Has evolved a product across multiple stages of a company’s growth trajectory (e.g. pre- and post-IPO)
  • Has developed and is passionate about processes that improve remote work culture, facilitate asynchronous collaboration, and help teams with effective time management
  • Has developed career paths and professional development structures for product management teams

Salary Range: $175,000 - 190,000
