Role Description

The Production Coordinator is responsible for managing and optimizing production planning, scheduling, and reporting through Oracle Fusion Cloud. The Production Coordinator ensures alignment across departments and drives collaboration between Operations, Warehousing and Materials Planning (Supply Chain) to achieve manufacturing schedule adherence across multiple production lines. This role also plays a key part in launching, maintaining, and enhancing Oracle Fusion modules that support manufacturing, inventory, and financial operations.

This opportunity is based out of Form Factory 1 – Form Energy’s 550,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located in Weirton, WV, a commutable distance from Pittsburgh. Purpose-built for high-volume, advanced battery production, Form Factory 1 is a hub of fast-moving, collaborative work driving a new era of large-scale American energy manufacturing in the heart of the Rust Belt.

What you'll do:

  • Production Coordination & Scheduling

    • Represent the Production Planning Department at daily operations meetings - communicating any changes or challenges to the current plan.

    • Prepare content for weekly company-wide production planning meetings.

    • Coordinate production operations in accordance with material, labor, and equipment availability.

    • Collaborate with Supply Chain, procurement, and warehousing to align on forecast and ensure material availability.

    • Assist with resource planning, including equipment, materials, and staffing requirements.

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date production data within Oracle Fusion, including work orders, materials, and resource utilization.

    • Monitor real-time production progress using Fusion dashboards and analytics tools.

    Oracle Fusion ERP Implementation & Optimization

    • Support the implementation and rollout of Oracle Fusion Cloud Manufacturing ensuring seamless integration with operational workflows.

    • Work with ERP project teams to define and configure production processes, routings, BOMs, and work centers in Oracle Fusion.

    • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system validation for new modules, updates, and enhancements.

    Collaboration with Finance

    • Work closely with the Finance Department to ensure accurate cost tracking and reconciliation between production and financial modules in Oracle Fusion.

    • Support Finance in managing standard costing, work order variances, and cost roll-ups within the ERP system.

    • Ensure accurate recording of material consumption, labor hours, and overhead allocations to maintain integrity of financial data.

    • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes by providing production data and system reports for accounting review.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Production Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Systems, or related field.

  • 4–6 years of experience in production control, planning, or manufacturing operations.

  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, specifically in Manufacturing, Inventory, and Costing modules.

  • Strong understanding of ERP data structures including BOMs, routings, work centers, and cost elements.

  • Familiarity with integration between production and finance modules (General Ledger, Cost Accounting, and Inventory Valuation).

  • Proficient in Oracle Fusion reporting tools, analytics dashboards, and Excel.

  • Experience supporting ERP implementation or upgrade projects.

  • Excellent communication and cross-departmental collaboration skills.
