What we are looking for

This is an opportunity for a technically strong, organised and safety-conscious theatre professional who values multidisciplinary teamwork, and is excited to practise in a modern, team-based, and tech-enabled care environment.

What you will do

Support the team during theatre procedures by:

• Preparing the equipment and consumables for scheduled and emergency procedures
• Maintaining theatre infection-prevention and sterilisation standards
• Working closely with Obstetricians, Anaesthesia providers, Nurse Midwives and the Theatre Squad
• Participating in theatre drills, audits and continuous quality-improvement initiatives

Who you are

• Qualified: Relevant qualification in Theatre Technology / Perioperative Technology or a related field
• Clinically Confident: Experience working in an operating theatre; maternity theatre experience is an advantage
• Tech-savvy: Open to using digital tools, data, and structured workflows to improve care
• Team Oriented: A team player aligned with Malaica’s values: ambitious, kind and transparent

What success looks like (6-12 months)

• Mothers consistently receive safe, respectful, and high-quality care
• Strong collaboration across the multidisciplinary clinical team
• Clinical pathways are followed, refined, and improved over time
