🚑 About the Role

We’re looking for a mission-driven Physician Assistant to join our Brooklyn-based care team. In this field-based role, you’ll work independently from a myLaurel-equipped vehicle to deliver hospital-grade care where patients need it most—their homes. You'll be supported by remote physician oversight, real-time clinical collaboration tools, and diagnostic equipment.

This is a standalone field role ideal for PAs who are confident working independently, thrive in dynamic settings, and believe in human-centered care.

🔧 What You’ll Do

  • Conduct in-home assessments and focused exams

  • Order and interpret labs, EKGs, and bedside diagnostics (e.g., POCUS)

  • Administer treatments (e.g., IV fluids, wound care, splinting)

  • Communicate with referring clinicians and coordinate follow-up care

  • Apply palliative principles and patient-centered care planning

  • Provide patient and caregiver education

  • Collaborate in clinical quality improvement (QI) efforts and team learning


🧠 What You Bring

  • Active NY State PA license (required)

  • BLS certification (ACLS a plus)

  • 2+ years of clinical experience in urgent care, ED, hospital medicine, or similar acute settings

  • Strong clinical decision-making and comfort working solo in the field

  • Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence

  • Physical ability to manage stairs and multi-level homes
