Job Summary:
Oula Health is looking for a full-time Market Administrative Director to provide leadership, management, and supervision for our Connecticut market. We’re looking for a thoughtful and passionate leader to help stand up and manage our hospital-based collaborative care program (spanning obstetrics and midwifery) with our hospital partner, Stamford Health, based in Fairfield County, CT, ensuring effective clinical and operational collaboration between the two organizations. Clinical background preferred. This role is a full-time, onsite, Monday through Friday position. This role will report to both Oula and Stamford Health and work towards the success of the partnership for both organizations. This individual will:
- Collaborate with Oula and Stamford leadership to help stand up and provide ongoing administration of new Stamford Health midwifery program, including implementation and refinement of protocols (e.g., staffing structure, consultation guidelines), updates to department communications, and integration into existing quality oversight and communication structures (e.g., Oula/SH clinical meetings)
- Serve as liaison between Oula and Stamford, surfacing and helping to address issues impacting performance/outcomes in the CT market. Maintain excellent relationship with Stamford and Oula stakeholders and continuously seek to understand needs, confirm goal alignment and demonstrate value proposition
- Help build and manage cross-organizational relationships between Oula and Stamford teams and support ongoing change management efforts
- Collaborate with Oula and Stamford leadership to monitor program/partnership performance and to address any opportunities or issues
- Monitor patient satisfaction along with Oula Customer Experience team
- Resolve any medical-administrative problems in collaboration with the Medical Site Directors and keep lines of communication open with staff to ensure high employee morale and a professional, healthful practice atmosphere
- Partner with Oula and Stamford clinical, clinical operations, customer experience and technology teams to drive alignment on effective operations, delivery of care, and coordination of care/referral pathways into Stamford Health.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate must have:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree
- Advanced clinical degree (e.g., RN, MSW) or MPH/MBA preferred
- Experience with hospital operations, strategy, or service line administration (including understanding of governance, quality metrics/oversight)
- A minimum of 5 years prior management and related experience
- Demonstrated ability to bring team together around a shared vision of providing exceptional patient experience
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functionally
- Experience building and/or managing clinical programs
