With fewer C-sections and higher VBAC success rates, our research-backed approach is delivering better outcomes. Our team of trusted midwives, OBGYNs and dedicated care navigators ensure our patients get the type of care they need in the moments that matter most. Since launching in 2021, we’ve expanded our services to include Preconception and Miscarriage Care, Pregnancy Care, Hospital-Based Delivery, Postpartum Support, and Gynecology. We have 3 clinics in New York, with exciting expansion on the Horizon! Come join our team of clinicians, innovators, operators, and technologists, passionate about setting a new standard in maternity care.

We are looking for a Senior Manager of Expansion & Enablement to join our growing maternity care company and lead national expansion efforts with a keen focus on operational scalability and excellence. We’re searching for a mission-aligned leader who is excited to build at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and human-centered design — helping to reimagine how maternity care is delivered at scale.

This team member will be responsible for designing and executing the strategies and processes that enable Oula to grow into new markets quickly and efficiently, while maintaining the highest standard of care and an exceptional patient experience. This is a highly cross-functional role that will liaise across teams and functions, surfacing and solving barriers to scale. It’s the perfect opportunity for someone who thrives in complexity, has a bias for systems thinking, and wants to have a lasting impact on how care is delivered nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead national expansion, defining and executing a scalable, repeatable framework for launching new clinics and entering new markets.

  • Build and refine internal processes across multiple functions (clinical operations, care delivery, people operations, IT, etc.) to remove friction and accelerate Oula’s growth roadmap.
    • Add SOPs and training materials as output
    • Add clean effective roll outs as output
    • Add adoption of processes as output
    • Add driving of indicated metrics as output
    • Add tech roadmap suggestions as output

  • Act as a connector across departments, identifying cross-functional challenges and opportunities that impact our ability to scale and deliver an exceptional and clean patient journey

  • Promote cross-company operational principles, helping align teams around shared ways of working that support both growth, an exceptional patient and preservation of Oula’s values.

  • Translate process improvement efforts into technology enablement, collaborating with the product team to identify where tools, platforms, or system improvements (off-the-shelf or built) can support operational scale.

  • Understand the interplay between process, technology, and human behavior — and have a track record of delivering improvements across systems or workflows.

  • Create visibility into progress by building and maintaining clear operating cadences, dashboards, and KPIs tied to expansion.

  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to executive leadership, supporting long-term decision-making around cross-functional operational and systems design.

You Are the Ideal Candidate If You…

  • Are deeply motivated by improving maternity care in the U.S. and excited to be a part of transforming the standard of care.

  • Are energized by solving complex, ambiguous challenges and designing systems from scratch.

  • Bring strong project and change management skills, with a knack for organizing chaos into clarity.

  • Are a collaborative cross-functional leader who can engage and influence stakeholders at every level.

Desired Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MHA, MPH, etc.) a plus.

  • 6–8+ years of experience in operations, process improvement, or scaling multi-site businesses — ideally within healthcare, technology, or high-touch service sectors.

  • Experience in launching new locations or scaling operational processes across geographies.

  • Familiarity with healthcare delivery, especially in ambulatory or outpatient settings, is strongly preferred.

  • Exposure to quality improvement frameworks (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, CQI) is a plus, but not required.
