Position Overview:

We seek a highly skilled Engineering Lead who will partner closely with our CTO and Co-Founder. As a crucial member of the engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the technical direction of our products, including collaborating closely with our engineering team that is based in a Spanish-speaking country. Native or fluent Spanish speaker is essential. This is an excellent role for someone who prefers a fast-paced, growing company and excels in autonomous and innovative environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with CTO and the development team to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs.
• Design and implement scalable web services, applications, and APIs.
• Lead by example, diving into the details, performing code reviews, and ensuring the highest standards of coding practices are maintained.
• Drive the development of new paid features, focusing on enhancing our product offerings and meeting market demands.
• Take ownership of security and database management, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of our systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or computer science
• 5-7 years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong emphasis on backend technologies.
• Experience with React, MongoDB, SQL Server, jQuery, Amazon Web Services (AWS), GitHub, Node.JS, Java/C, and Microsoft APIs.
• Fluency in Spanish is a must, as you will be the primary liaison between the Spanish-speaking engineering team and leadership.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable software solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with customization and integration of software products.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a hands-on approach to code development and review.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team environment, fostering a culture of trust and accountability.
