POSITION SUMMARY:

The Digital Marketing Manager will help expand and execute new marketing initiatives to increase lead generation for our substitute teacher community. This person oversees the development and implementation of strategies, plans, and executions spanning recruitment marketing channels and beyond, cultivating innovation and excellence in each campaign. They also manage day-to-day operations in specific channels, with a primary focus on paid search, working closely with our brand and marketing team to drive and spearhead growth initiatives. This role is cross-functional, partnering closely with product marketing, brand marketing, content, and operations to grow Swing’s educator community.

We are looking for a data-driven and user-centric marketer to help build a major part of Swing's substitute teacher acquisition strategy. The candidate should be a highly organized, data-driven marketer who understands how to use and optimize existing direct response channels, including job boards and employer brand initiatives. Flexibility and the capacity to work in a fast-paced, highly interactive, and innovative environment are mandatory. Proficient writing skills are required. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Marketing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategic Marketing Leadership: Lead the development, planning, and execution of targeted marketing strategies, with an emphasis on paid search, to meet business objectives and key performance indicators. Manage recommendations for decisions across spend, targeting, bidding, creative, and landing pages.
  • Testing into Channel Expansion: Test, design and implement innovative marketing campaigns across digital platforms to diversify our channel mix including but not limited to email, webinars, outbound, content syndication, and social media. Ensure campaigns align with business goals and deliver measurable results, enhancing brand visibility and engagement.
  • Cultural Champion for Innovation and Growth: Foster a culture of rapid experimentation and continuous improvement within the marketing team. Encourage innovative approaches and iterative testing to refine marketing tactics and strategies continually.
  • Project and Campaign Management:
  • Take full charge of marketing campaigns from concept to completion, ensuring effective coordination with all stakeholders for seamless delivery. Oversee the tracking and analysis of campaign performance, and regularly report outcomes and actionable insights to the team to drive continuous improvement.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 4+ years of marketing experience.
  • Proficiency in SEM, Display, Facebook, and other digital advertising mediums.
  • Proven experience in B2C lead generation working across multiple channels
  • Proactive, entrepreneurial style, eager to take initiative in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Depth of experience initiating and driving strategic, cross-functional programs to completion, executing tactical execution with minimal guidance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build relationships
  • Commitment to diversity and inclusion in managing and engaging diverse pipelines of talent
  • Outstanding time management skills, with proven ability to multitask, accomplishing numerous tasks, and changing priorities in an effective and timely manner
  • Proven ability to think analytically to solve complex problems
