Position Summary
We’re looking for someone who knows New Jersey, loves connecting with people, and isn’t afraid to hit the ground running to make things happen. As our regional Substitute Teacher Recruiter, you’ll be the go-to person for helping substitute teachers get started—and stay engaged—with Swing.
You’ll lead in-person and virtual onboarding events, support school partners with unique or long-term teaching positions to fill, and build meaningful connections with local organizations to spread the word about subbing. This role is all about momentum: moving people from “thinking about it” to “teaching in it,” and making sure every classroom has the coverage it needs.
If you’re the kind of person who brings energy, follow-through, and a genuine belief that every student deserves a great day at school, we can’t wait to meet you.
Plus, you’ll join a fun team that’s passionate, creative, and genuinely enjoys finding new ways to elevate the substitute teacher experience.

- Track recruiting outcomes, activation rates, and other key onboarding metrics
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of experience in recruiting, community engagement, or partnerships (bonus points for education or staffing experience)

- Organized, outcomes-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-moving environment
- Based in New Jersey with reliable transportation and the flexibility to travel throughout the state
