THE ROLE
The Site IT Administrator will be responsible for the effective management of hardware, software, and associated technologies that support and enhance operations within our fulfillment center.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, printers, and any other authorized peripheral equipment
  • Arranges for and/or prepares equipment for shipping/receiving
  • Ensure desktop computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems including associated validation systems, file servers, email servers, application servers, and administrative systems
  • Diagnose and quickly resolve a wide range of Windows and Apple applications and networking problems to help minimize downtime
  • Monitoring, analyzing, and responding to the tickets, customer call, and IT-related HighJump Support request
  • Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers, computer hardware, and any other authorized peripheral equipment
  • Return defective equipment/parts to maintenance inventory, document customer repairs, maintain, and restock assigned parts inventory to ensure proper spare parts levels
  • Familiarize end-users with basic software, hardware, and peripheral device operation
  • Arranges for and/or prepares equipment for shipping/receiving
  • Maintain physical infrastructure including racks, power, cooling, cabling, and devices

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of IT Administration experience
  • Experience with HighJump is a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office and Google Docs
  • Previous experience supporting a Fulfillment Center is a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks
  • Entrepreneurial: Able to wear many hats and thrive in scenarios where you are given lots of independence
  • Team-Oriented: Willingness to help out on projects that drive the team forward
  • College-level training and/or degrees is a plus; however, experience may be substituted for formal educational credentials
