We currently have an opening for a Slotting Supervisor where you will be on the front lines contributing to awesome member experiences! You will play a crucial role in organizing and optimizing the storage of inventory within our Fulfillment Centers. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
This position will be based out of one of our Fulfillment centers, Reno NV, Wilkes-Barre PA, or Batesville IN and will require occasional travel to the other FCs <10% of time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Initial assessment of existing space allocation in each FCs
  • Build and develop an effective space management program that includes optimization of the pick face and reserve locations by cube and velocity, regular monitoring of the current strategies and adjust as needed to create optimal flow and reduce defects.
  • Monitor product velocity, adjust slotting strategies, partner with local slotters to make effective moves and utilize space effectively.
  • Evaluate current space utilization and partner with Continuous Improvement, Operations Excellence and Operations teams on identifying areas of improvements and suggest changes
  • Drive slotting strategy changes including large scale bin right sizing projects.
  • Develop a roll out plan for improving space management strategy
  • Continuously assess and optimize slotting strategies and space allocation
  • Partner with local FCs and provide direction to a team of Slotters across all fulfillment centers

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Will be based out of one of the existing FCs with occasional travel required
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure precision and accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work in a team environment, provide honest and direct feedback
  • Able to handle ambiguity, changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure
  • Self-motivated, structured, accurate, results driven and ready to improve and open to change
  • Ability to multitask multiple projects
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel
  • Prior logistics, fulfillment and/or industry experience required
  • Experience with hand-held scanners (preferred)
  • Honest with high integrity
  • Dedicated to quality and high standards

  • A team player valuing co-worker's opinions and treating everyone with courtesy and respect
  • Dependable, responsible, reliable and mature
  • Experienced in warehousing systems and applications such as Warehouse Management Systems (High-Jump)
  • Able to work in a fulfillment center environment that may be noisy, walking and standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 50 pounds and bending and using mechanical equipment as part of production activities

JOB INFORMATION

  • Compensation Description - The starting salary range for this position is between $50K-$65K.
  • Salary may increase over time based upon: skill, level of responsibility, additional duties, seniority, quantity or quality of production, or other legitimate, business-related factors.
