About the job
This position is responsible for managing a specialized tactical team within our Fraud Operations organization.
We are looking for a talented manager with experience in driving exceptional results in an operational environment to join our global Fraud Operations organization, where we focus on preventing fraud and abuse of the Twilio ecosystem.
The KYT manager is responsible for the team performance and enabling individual development of its fraud specialists, ensuring that policies are effectively enforced with high precision. The ideal candidate is comfortable with working and making decisions in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about preventing consumer harm.
This is a full time remote role with team members located throughout the US, operating in close collaboration with other Operations, Product, and engineering teams.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
- Lead a group of experienced fraud investigators
- Manage the day to day activities of the team to ensure deliverables are met with the service level agreement.
- Act as the point of contact for internal partners during internal escalations
- Act as a reference point for your team, peers, and partners for subject-matter expertise and cross-functional collaboration.
- Act as the owner for Twilio’s in-flight traffic monitoring
- Coach and mentor your team on fraud best practices, ensuring quality decisions are made
- Ensure an optimal experience to the customers of Twilio via fast resolution of issues that will likely require tailored solutions

Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations or similar discipline or equivalent job experience.
- 2+ years of team management experience, leading global operations teams in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
- 3+ years experience in fraud, abuse or compliance in eCommerce, FinTech, or telecommunications.
- Availability to work a non-traditional schedule; weekends and holidays may be required.
Desired:
- Basic knowledge of SQL, Looker, Tableau or similar data extraction and data visualization tools
- Basic understanding APIs and related technologies
- You are a natural problem solver, comfortable using data to arrive at decisions and you consistently demonstrate sound business judgment.
- You are able to build relationships and influence stakeholders across the organization. Strong project and process management skills, including establishing/managing a budget and setting/achieving goals
- You have time management and organizational skills and are comfortable working under pressure.
Location
This role will be remote, and based in the USA. Approximately 15% travel is anticipated.

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:
- Based in Colorado: $84,320.00 - $105,400.00
- All roles are eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
