SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

Zing Health seeks an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to lead and evolve our Salesforce platform in support of healthcare business operations. You will be responsible for designing and developing custom software applications on the Salesforce platform, integrating Salesforce with existing systems, ensuring data accuracy and security, and mentoring offshore developers. Health Cloud and healthcare industry experience are preferred but not required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Objectives of this Role

• Lead the design and development of custom solutions on the Salesforce platform.
• Own technical implementation across the full software development life cycle.
• Maintain and improve existing Salesforce applications for optimal function.
• Creating and maintaining integrations with other applications and systems using web services and APIs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with security and development standards on Salesforce.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to offshore Salesforce team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce Flows.
• Design and document scalable architecture solutions for business processes.
• Support, troubleshoot, and optimize existing Salesforce applications and integrations.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce development best practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation (design documents, release notes, user guides).
• Stay current on Salesforce platform features and recommend enhancements as appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5–7 years of software development experience.
• 3–5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, LWC, and flow configuration.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce data model (standard/custom objects, relationships).
• Experience integrating Salesforce with other systems using APIs and middleware.
• Proficiency with SQL.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer II, App Builder, Administrator, etc.).
• Experience with Salesforce Health Cloud, DocGen, FlexCards, and OmniStudio.
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery).
• Experience implementing CI/CD and DevOps practices.
