About the Role and the Department

As the Program Success Operations Associate, you'll play a crucial role in the smooth setup and management of our volunteer and non-profit programs. You'll support data operations, communications, and reporting processes that directly impact client success and program performance. This is an excellent opportunity for an operations expert who enjoys working with datasets and drives operational excellence in a mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support onboarding tasks by helping to clean and upload nonprofit and volunteer data into internal systems, and enrolling users in the appropriate email communications.

  • Prepare and maintain client reporting by gathering relevant data and formatting it into templates or reports used by the Program and Customer Success teams.

  • Help execute email campaigns by segmenting user lists and preparing targeted messages to increase engagement and support departmental goals.

  • Maintain data accuracy by conducting data checks, updating records, and assisting with user surveys to help collect feedback.

  • Collaborate on special projects and process improvements across our program success function.

  • Manage multiple projects with competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Support with designing and implementing new systems and processes to improve program-wide operations efficiency, effectiveness, and impact.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Program Success and Customer Success teams to operationalize and standardize client-specific data management requests.

Experience / Background

Required:

  • 2–3 years of professional experience in a program support, operations, or client-facing role.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Experience working with large datasets; proficient Excel skills (including formulas, pivot tables, and data cleaning).

  • Comfort using tools like Google Workspace and a willingness to learn new technologies and systems.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote work environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset.

  • High attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in the non-profit, social impact sector or education.

  • Familiarity with CRM platforms or program management tools (e.g., Salesforce, Airtable, HubSpot, etc.) and email communication platforms (e.g. ActiveCampaign, Intercom).

  • Strong interest in continued process improvement and operational efficiency

Compensation & Benefits

  • The salary range for this position is commensurate with experience and geography dependent - $52,000 to $62,000

  • Unlimited PTO and 50 hours of paid time off to volunteer.
