Formlabs is growing by the minute. Amid this rapid expansion, we’re looking for more operational muscle on our Finance & Accounting team. At Formlabs, joining this dynamic, intensely focused team means applying attention to detail and good judgment skills to financial operations, while delivering the accurate and timely information required to manage our scaling business.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage foreign entities’ general ledger accounting processes including but not limited to preparing/approving journal entries for international entities, reviewing the local reporting packages, and performing key flux analysis and sub-recs.
  • Manage the transition of the international accounting processes from external firms to a Formlabs dedicated accounting team, including the ongoing support and training of local teams.
  • Understanding and documenting various global accounting processes and key accounting matters.
  • Responsible for performing the monthly FX re-measurement for all the entities, analyzing the FX gain or loss results, and reconciliations.
  • Support the statutory reporting and local audit processes including preparing the transactions details and/or detailed support for the local requests, reviewing the statutory financial statement drafts, collaborating with the legal teams on the required paperwork.
  • Work with the Financial System team, FP&A, and regional leaders from various business teams to drive system improvements and efficiencies to achieve accurate management reporting.
  • Drive the accelerated close timelines by participating in various accounting areas of the close including but not limited to posting various accruals, reclassifications, and reserves.
  • Manage inter-company transactions between entities including but not limited to recording inter-company inventory purchases, transfer pricing adjustments and documentations, and monthly eliminations.
  • Collaborate with the Technical accounting team on establishing accounting policies and implementing key controls.
  • Support the annual audit processes.
  • Work with various business teams on ad-hoc initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience. Mix Public accounting and industry experience preferred
  • Bachelors or higher degree in accounting or finance
  • International accounting, multi-currency transactional experience (highly required)
  • Hands-on experiences related to intercompany processes (highly required)
  • Cross functional project management experience (required)
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, external vendors to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving and results
  • Detail oriented, organized and ability to meet deadlines
  • Direct experience with ERP systems required
  • Proficient in Excel and other MS Office applications
