Position Title: NPI Program Manager

Position Location: 35 Medford Street, Somerville, MA 02143

Duties: Design and implement a strategic Operations production readiness program; developing and optimizing project management systems, tools and processes. Proactively and systematically ensure (NPI/Sustaining) programs are delivered on time, on budget with expected technical and quality requirements. Balance a bias for action with strategic Operations program planning and risk management. Lead successful collaboration with Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers facilitating smooth communication and commercial release; cultivating relationships between Formlabs and its partners. Establish and utilize strong relationships across business, engineering & leadership teams to drive needed project requirements from concept selection and initial prototype builds through project completion. Up to 20% international and domestic travel required.

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree, or a foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field of study and five years of experience in the job offered, or any related operations occupation. Applicants must have demonstrated experience with the following: written and verbal presentations at all business levels; complex NPI project management; electromechanical system development environment; leading NPI efforts with Asian based contract manufacturers; successfully launching manufacturing products/modules in an Asian factory; and technical design or manufacturing issue resolution impacting cost, quality, or yields.
